Accountant Wants to use GOTOMYPC.com...to access my files from his home..ANY ADVICE, I am weiry just about it.? Hi everyone, My accountant wants to use gotomypc.com because he cannot come

Hi everyone, My accountant wants to use gotomypc.com because he cannot come to my home department and check my quickbooks file weekly. so he tell me that we can use this service and he can work the quickbooks file from his home, anyway from what i get the drift when I give him access to my quickbooks record, he will basically hold access to all of my computer files, domestic photos etc...

I called gotomypc.com and they did put in the picture me that he will have access to adjectives of my pc...and I am unsure of this, do you guys know of a approach where perchance i can send him a quickbooks portable database and he could update it and then transport it to me and i can upload it to my quickbooks? he tells me that by going to that website he can update everything and not own to use portable files..This is a new accountant so as you would expect i am weiry about giving him full access to my laptop. any advice would be appreciated.

it is done all the time, only put a time limit on it, if you are trusting him near your taxes that have adjectives your information why wouldn't you trust him to access your PC?

Answers: If you are unsure of this after I would just not tolerate him... You are under no expressions to submit your entire pc agreement or not... I would recomend one of two things. First, ask him what he wishes and print it, copy it on DVD, and send via email... or 2 find yourself another accountant.. That sounds close to a fishy practice...

Find a up to date accountant this guy is asking too much which is none of his business! It can't be attached to an email?
