I am setting up as a call central point consultant in the UK. Any tips/ potential pitfalls to avoid?

Any proposal would be welcomed. I think your biggest brave is that some very full-size, well particular companies offer Call Center consulting--including BT itself. So your biggest disobey will be to make a defence for why someone needs to hire lend a hand from a small business. I assume you have some credentials or expertise to do so. Also, most businesses are moving away from Call Centers and more towards Contact Centers (integrating phone, email, chat/IM, etc)--so in attendance could be an opp to help companies as they plan that transition. Also, I ponder some smaller businesses have have trouble with deploying IP telephony--there could be an opportunity to be the "honest" voice of grounds for companies having misery with their IP Telephony systems.
You must have, your representative surrounded by India, to provide services to your perspective clients, who are interested in out sourcing Call centre of attention services.
