I just moved an hour away. I settled to leave my brief and stay home since I'm pregnant and going to stay home with the child anyway. I was thinking going on for selling Avon. I would love to hear about peoples stories who own tried this. Is it worth it?

Avon, have great buys and everyone on earth know about them. Problem is you individual make 10-20 percent on average per item you put on the market. Some are higher, but more costly and smaller amount likely to market.
So, if you sell 100.00 of Avon, you plausible make with the sole purpose 15.00
You have to buy the sample and the books. So, you purely lost another 6-7 dollars.
Add that to the fact that various people never recompense you for the stuff you ordered for them. You wind up have to return it, for a shipping fee, or hold it.

Is it worth it? Only for the tax write rotten at the end of the year.

But my problem be that I got sold by my own selling skills and bought more stuff than I sold. Make sure you can promise yourself that you won't do what i did, because you won't variety any money!
3. Be willing to deliver your clients directions to their homes, or meet them at someplace, as you might find that several will not be willing to pick it up at your house. You will call for to go out of the house for this business.

Good luck! I tried when I first got married which be about 34 years ago. You own to work really hard at it to breed any money. It's okay to do if you just want to achieve products for your self at a great discount. You would have to own a super economic sports car to drive because you have to deliver everything yourself, as in good health as pick up the orders. Maybe in our day a website would work, but Avon sells direct online too. At the time I sold, you have to pay for files to give out, the oodles, anything you need, you salaried for. If you could get some voluminous offices to proclaim from you then you would not enjoy to deliver to so many different places of late keep it to the bureau, then you could do better.Hardly anyone is at home anymore so home sale would be even tougher. This is exactly the point I joined Avon. Now two years next I am a Unit Leader and have a immense group of customers. You do need to realize nouns will not happen overnight. My sister and I started selling uppercase living. It is easy to book party from parties because it is strange and fun and everyone likes it. If you want to check it out I can convey you some info just to compare things. I enjoy sold a few things and so far this is the easiest with the biggest $ return. It is instant money too. Not waiting for a check from them (well you obtain that too) But most is right upfront. Even then purely having kids I LOVE OUR BABY STUFF.

If they change their mind and resolve they no longer want it when it arrives, you're stuck with paying for the direct anyway.
