Best OverDraft Protection Bank? Question: usually i deal next to bank of america. Some

Question: usually i deal next to bank of america. Some times mistakenly i write a check minus checking actual amount in mound. BUt BOFA redicuolosly adds 60-80 Dollar fine. I hear ChaseManhattan Gives 1000 Dollar CreditLine to use as over draft. Do you suggest any other bank which to all comers gives Best Over Drauft protections to the over drawn amount?
with most retail bank making most of their profits from exhorbitant fees (rather than the traditional idea of making money from the money held within their accounts), i think it is ridiculous to put up next to a bank that charges such fees.

Internet base banks habitually have a credit base overdraft protection. I have used everbank.com (but i must confess that they have be bought by another company and standards have slipped); they enjoy overdraft protection.

There are costs, but they are no more than, say, taking a bread advance on a credit card. It is not something you want to be doing on a regular justification, but beats the hefty fees of an Insufficient Funds Charge. Source(s):

I suggest as a responsible full-size you follow your accounts more closely. Do you live pay check to recompense check? having your own money is the best overdraft protection. what happen to you if you have an emergency and necessitate money? you have to find a loan? tsk tsk chase gives overdraft protection but at what cost?
Anyone giving you a 1000 Overdraft protection either know your Credit Rating extremely well; or they enjoy another account surrounded by your name that they know can cover it.

I agree, you should other know what's in your mound, and what's going out when. It sounds like you're wanting protection because you do this on a regular starting place. An overdraft should be a very RARE exception.

I imagine it is IMMORAL for banks to be selling Overdraft Protection. Why are they promoting irresponsibility? What a horrible message to everyone.

If you can use a credit coalition, use one..most of them offer unlimited overdraft protection..it help out alot
