I plan to major contained by business with a pictographic design minor... what do you guys think of this plan? what things can i do near this combination?

Answers: I think its a great belief. The obvious point that come to mind when I think of Business and Graphic design is "Marketing", but I wouldn't closing date myself to just this one discipline.

I one-sidedly majored in Design(Architecture) and minored surrounded by Economics. It might seem approaching a odd combination (I thought so too within college), but it has proved to be extremely caring in advance my career as an architect.

Being competent to quickly switch gears from Creative mind set to a Quantitative/analytical one is a skill that I estimate very few those have contained by the workplace. I could be solving design problems with designers contained by my office one minute, and procure on the phone next minute to consult to the client about strategic financing for his hot development.

I think a business point is a good one to enjoy because it can be used in a broad sense near many different commission fields. As far as a illustrative design minor not sure. The field seem to be pretty overflood.
