Buying from alibaba? Hi, I am new at business and roughly to start

Hi, I am new at business and roughly to start an oline jewellery supplies business at an online selling platform. thinking of import some jewellery supplies on a long-term principle from sellers at alibaba. What is the difference between seller categorised themselves as manufacturers and wholesalers/distributors? Some sticky label themselves as both. Any implication for the pricing for alike products? I am wondering if it's fair to assume that pricing is more competitive from manufacturer in nonspecific. What is the implication of OEM? Do they adopt paypal via paypal? tks^^

Answers: I tried alibaba, I cannot answer all of those question. I can only explain to you of my experience. I wanted to purchase various items in bulk from (3) different companies...lamp. (1) answered within three days, the other ones be quite some time, over (2) wks beforehand replying. Nxt, the answers were within terrible broken english, I be going to, you think relations spell and make sentence structure poorly here, of late wait! It is considerable to understand what you're agreeing on when it comes to order and amounts. The only one I looked-for to deal near was the one that be prompt so this person would not pass me a decent rate of late to check out the products, sample. I needed two of each of the (6) items. From what I could glean from the broken english it be a Bulk rate of $5.75 each appx., but to check them out they required about $20.00 EACH and also repay extra S&Handling too! I'm not used to this, most ppl I've deal with here are relieved to have a brand new potential client.
Anyway, that soured my taste-buds. Too much of a hassle. Now if you know someone who is Chinese, you probably won't have duplicate problems. Or maybe this will not be the overnight case for you, but all three wrote subsidise in amazingly bad english.
Also, those that marker themselves as Manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors I would assume would have much more competitive pricings.
You'll find totally unusual products, oh also, make sure you don't allow them to distribute you alerts, I missed only one to check and they e-mailed me up the wazoo. Hey, simply buy from American Manufacturers, that's the best option! That's what I'm going to stick next to. Go Made-in-America!!
