Question: I would like to become a notary, but my residence is contained by NY state.. and i am stationed in SD california.. It would be great if someone could backing me out with this one.. and if they know of any exceptions! thanks alot!!

My wife be a notary for several years, she thinks that anyone who can intervene the test can be a notary within California (you also have to be a non-felon, etc.) . She believes that the bureau of the California Secretary of State is who issues the Notary permit.
