Hey Everyone,

I am an IT pro with 7-8 yrs experience, near Masters in MIS. I am 29 and hold 2 kids. One is just 3 months ripened. I have a dream to start something of my own. I earn a six amount salary. I enjoy a good mind to quit my brief and start tutoring kids or start a temporary staffing company. I enjoy no experience in any of the two. My husband makes money to sustain the home. But is my venture to quit a biddable job worth it?

I hold been thinking of mixed business ideas for years but haven't dare to start one yet.
Starting a business cog time may not be an easy substitute as i have two small kids.
A few of my friends are liable to partner with me should I desire to start a business.
I have a great boss/colleagues and friends and great benefits (Just to confer an idea of what the opportunity cost would involve)
I work especially hard. But I am not immensely good at one alone.

Quiting a duty to create your own company is always a virtuous thnig.

Jobs never pay you what you are worth as a human anyone, yet they suck your time away from you.

Most business that fail, do so because the entity running it knows nil about it. Even if you suppose it sounds simple, there are things something like a particular business that are individual to it and you only know those quirk when you have be in it awhile.

Each of the businesses you mentioned would put you up against sizeable chains that have be doing it for many years and can enjoy economies of degree that you won't have. And neither one sounds close to much of a money maker.

You get some good proposal from other answerers, not quitting your job, trying your business on weekends, etc.

The best point you can do right now if you want to turn into a business is to talk to a business that does what you want to do. Listen to what they own to say.

Owning a business mode it is yours 8 days a week and always on your mind. Do you want to embezzle yourself away from your kids? I visit businesses for a living and I can detail you that most of them would sell out if they could retire. They loathe it. Good luck!

You say you've be thinking about sundry business ideas for years. Then the two specific accepted wisdom you mention you have zilch experience with. I guess I don't fully take in why you mentioned those two ideas when you don't know more or less them as businesses.

It al depends if you are really primed to stop want you are doing. Starting a business with others is also a big quiz you need to ask yourself. I own small children at home, my youngest 2 week old little one and a 3 year old, not to mention elementary and teenagers. I hold my own small business selling BeautiControl products. It works great, because I work my own hours and I get to spend time beside my kids, while I am earning $500- $1000 wkly or bi-weekly. It depends on your sale and your motivation to sell.
