You really need to find your own domain name. that will cost you as little as $9 from places resembling Godaddy. As far as free web hosting; in that are plenty out there, but be prepared to hold a lot of promotion and banner ad on your site. That's the cost of getting the hosting free. Blogger.com was bought by google and you can carry one for free with unlimited bandwidth if I'm not mistaken. Like the other guy said you will single get a subdomain next to them it will look like: yourname.blogspot.com

BUT...within are places where you can buy a domain pet name for $2.00 - yahoo first time buyers for the first year I think. I'm sure here are others as well.

Then you can own your own domain name, but use google for the free unlimited webhosting and within you go. Set up for 2 bucks.

Good Luck.

It take a lot of work to deal with a domain. A person who wishes to own their own domain must:

1. Pay for it. They're not free.

2. Have a decent awareness of how to code, in the unprotected minimum, HTML.

3. Make their own graphics.

4. Must be extremely comfortable with releasing their personal information into a public domain database where on earth anywhere can see it just by penetrating for their domain name.

5. Must be extremely comfortable that they might be adjectives to viruses and hackers.

Owning a domain is NOT for you if:

1. You want one for free.

2. You don't know anything give or take a few HTML or how to make your own graphics.

3. You are not comfortable next to releasing your personal information to a database.

Answers:   google free webhosting
you won't find any which gives out unadulterated domains, only subdomains (i.e.: yourname.domain.com)
