I work for a company and do payroll. I know the lady I work near steal money. She has written herself checks a couple of times surrounded by the past and changed her duty files when W-2's were run this year. I dont know what to do I own told my boss which he has done zilch. Now she is telling my boss's sister which is a friend of mine that I am stealing checks. What to do?
Get proof of her doing this and take a copy to the police dept and impart a copy to the owner of the company. If nothing is done at least possible cover yourself, so she can't get you into trouble or possibly locked up, over somthing she's doing. If you cant capture her doing something. Then contact the IRS and let them know you believe a co-worker is altering their w-2's they will do an investigation.
File a complaint to the proper authority.

Stealing from the company is a crime. You entail to document everything and tell the owner of the company

Good Luck
