My husband started doing landscaping services closing summer but we did not register the company, does anyone know how to do that? It is going to be a joint business next to his brother in regulation so what exactly do we have to do, who do we telephone call, and how much will it cost me?

Answers: Call local town hall for info. Probably have need of a DBA (Doing Business As). Open a business checking account. If there's Sales Tax, you'll inevitability to register with the state.

you have need of to go to the county clerks department and register your company. fees vary, mine be $55. and you need to settle on what type of company you will be.. an LLC, or incorporated. you will need a due ID to collect and report taxes (and PAY taxes!!) i am sure your county has a website.. check it out
