Do you think any of them buy regular deisel to run them when not doing farm work.

I'm almost trustworthy that the large construction firms don't draw from an allowance of red duty free deisel

John, I am not sure what point you are trying to kind?

If a farmer is developing their ground for their own use, ie putting a house on it, then yes they can use red derv, however the price differential immediately is minimal to white derv.

Most new build get a redution in the VAT costs, so thoses big construction firms do acquire rebates of a sort and usually hold better equipment to do the task and thieve less time. So the full cost of derv isn't rewarded by the corporates anyway?
