Have you be finding the Ebay environment HOSTILE lately? Wow. I just get shot between the eyes. I had a positive

Wow. I just get shot between the eyes. I had a positive ebay Dutch auction back on April 1st. I give the Seller a VERY POSITIVE comment line & 5 full stars down the rank. Two times (April 22 and May 20) I asked "please" of the Seller to give me feedback. She overreacted and said that since I be nagging her, that if she could, she'd give me a NEGATIVE feedback, and she have NO intention of giving me any feedback.

Have you been seeing this, too? Such aggression, negativity, rudeness, scarcity of cooperation?

What can I do about this Seller? Should I, Could I report her to Ebay for her contempt? What is your perspective on this?

Feedback is VOLUNTARY.
You *never* solicit for it--because you can end up near a negative.

(While the current system prevents the seller from departing you a negative, I believe it simply applies to sales made after May 19.)

My ratio is almost 80% of feedback is received. The other 20% just never happen.
Its only one person. Maybe she is in recent times a jerk, I don`t know she is having some sort of problems contained by her life and is taking them out on you - who know.

Anyhow, she is entitled to her opinion (however misguided it may be) and isn't violate any rules so I can't see what you could report to eBay (lol, eBay can't do anything about jerk, just race violating their rules).

Just consent to it go and verbs - life's to short to be bothering with those like her.

Answers:   Never ask for feedback (this is a pious rule of thumb for buyers and sellers). eBay has become an extremely unpleasant place lately for both buyers and seller. While the majority of transactions are smooth, honest, and pleasant, there are other those that don't go severely well and these, unhappily, can ruin it for the next buyer/seller. I both buy AND provide on eBay and, due to the feedback changes made just now, I cut the seller A LOT of slack as far as if feedback is moved out for me and actually do what I can to fashion sure I am as pleasant as humanly possible. It could very all right be that your seller have negative interactions next to other buyers and, unfair as it is, be frustrated and took it out on you. I don't know if you have ever sold anything on eBay, but it can be enormously stressful. Most sellers use this as a passageway to make a living (and is usually their simply source of income) so being honest and even-handed is the only method they can stay in business. If buyers retaliate against the seller, the sellers will start out eBay to find other outlets to sell their items (and they are currently disappearing at astonishing rates, according to the discusssion boards). As a buyer, I don't want this to happen because eBay have been the best site I enjoy ever come across as far as being intensely easy to use. Trust me, nearby are far more dishonest BUYERS out there than in attendance are dishonest SELLERS. Cut your seller some slack and a moment ago hope your next peddler will give you feedback.
