I am looking into starting my own retail shop, and I just enjoy no idea how to take ahold of distributors and wholesalers. Is there a website I can look at for more information? Should I lately start calling the companies I'm interested in? I enjoy no idea where on earth to even start!!

I am most interested in alternative apparel brands such as Hurley, Quicksilver, Volcom, and the close to. Any help or accepted wisdom would be appreciated! :)
