How do i let somebody know my boss i want to switch days? i play on a basktetball team i just now made and all

i play on a basktetball team i just now made and all of our games are fridays from 6-10 turns out i work 4-10 at a really righteous job but i just work fridays 4-10 but ive been wanting to play for this troop for awhile

Tell him you want to switch days or you will quit. He will be crying on his knees contained by no time. Be honest and ask him/her.Honesty is always the best policy.

Not just should you just be honest and direct near your boss you should also offer an alternative or a suggestion that will free you up on Friday night. For instance... ahead of time speak to someone that is rotten on Fridays and works on one of your days off and see if they would be inclined to switch...this way your boss will be more feasible to accomidate you because HE won't have to verbs about finging someone to cover your shift.
Otherwise, find a different profession! First, wrong attitude.

You don't TELL your boss anything. You ASK, nicely and politely.
