How do i start a loan company and what would be the initial outlay?
Which business do you want to set up - estate agency? loan company? Please see my answer on your estate agency question.
Your initial outlay will depend on where on earth you want to operate from and how you're going to do it. Would you run it within your estate agency? You could be looking at anything from a few hundred pounds to several thousand. It's just with a clear plan that you'll be capable of work out what it will cost.
As I said in my other answer, contact your local Business Link for free comfort and advice.
Good luck!
Initial outlay would be for office space, desks, receiver lines, computer equipment and software, stationary and paper (printed stationary), probably a web site - depending on your location and the local services and competition these can ebb and flow in price enourmously
Then you will want finance to own cash to lend out, and funds available to cover bleak debts/.
If you are serious about the business afterwards Yaho perhaps isnt the best place to ask - go and get out on the street and find out how much things cost near you, phone around for quotes, put together a business plan base on your findings and take it from nearby.
