Since you've never be in business up to that time, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor up to that time you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you'll start a net based business or one beside a store front. I'd call the local department of SCORE (go to http://www.score.org and input your fastener code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE.

The counselor at SCORE will most possible advise you to write a business plan which is greatly good guidance because it will force you to dig out adjectives of the start up details and the costs of starting a pet sitting business and force you to also understand adjectives of the aspects of this business including the customers you'll concentrate on (your market ) and how you'll shift after them.

You'll need to register the business next to your state controller's office and spawn sure that you have any city and county license if any are needed where you live. All of this will come out within a business plan.

Good Luck
type up some fliers on the computer and pass them around your community. start next to people you know or that know your parents... stop surrounded by twice a day would be a correct way to start I'm guessing. maybe a 1/2 hour each look in? charge maybe $5 a sunshine per customer or something like that. Until you grasp a feel for what they are inclined to pay.
