my parents don't know anyone who lives closeby and wishes a sitter. I'm not allowed to look for/post/give flyers because that's dicey. I'm worried I'm not going to get one.

Don't have them try to get out to you... Instead, try reaching out to them! Put out flyers, and make a website to peddle your business. I suggest taking a few classes first, for example, First Aid, and just a plain ol babysitting class.

I babysit, I wanted to for the ABSOLUTE longest. I go of vacation to Florida next to my family and we stumble upon this lady and her 6 year antediluvian daughter. It just happen to be they lived in one and the same town as I do and needed a sitter. Destiny found it's way. Just bestow it some time, I waited four years for my turn.

Answers: Why can't you pass by out flyers with your parents' cell number and/or email? You could progress with your mom and come across the kids and family at a playground if someone is interested. I a moment ago got a flyer a few weeks ago.

Maybe your post within the church bulletin was ineffective because it be missing vital information or something. If something is ably written then it already say a lot in the region of a person.

Include:

- Age and nouns were you live
- What hours can you work
- State your experience, reference?
- Say something about yourself, similar to I like kids, I am dependable, etc.
- How society can get within touch with you

Speaking as a mom I don't close to paying a ton of $ to start. I'm saying this because some girls or babyish woman scare me sour with their pay demands. For a younger girl here in SoCal $8, elder $12+ for 2 kids. But when things go powerfully, we always tip devout. I also like it when things are picked up when we come home. The worst entry is when the sitters' cell phone already rings when the she is just walking within the door! Consider yourself on the job and put the calls/text messaging on hold until the kids are contained by bed.
