no, they don't

stores repay good money to gain people to come into the store and you want to hijack the potential customer for your personal gain? Get genuine.

You either stipulation to do your surveys from public property [like the highway right-of-way in front of the store] OR convincingly answer the interrogate "What's in it for the store?"

And, no -- the shopping arcade outside the store isn't public property. It belongs to the mall owner who rents it to the extraordinary consumer attitude survey outfit, so you can't use that area for free any.

You can ask the Mall managment for permission and what their excise would be if .

Answers:
Probably NOT in the Store but perhaps outside surrounded by the parking lot or sidewalk near the entrance ~ but it wouldn't hurt to ASK where on earth would be most disruptive to your customers.

Say: I'm trying to gain/gather some research data on the consumer's print of a new innovative product. Would you mind taking (tell the exact time it will embezzle ie 3 minutes) of your time to answer 4 questions?

If you don't want YES - NO answers ask OPEN ENDED question and EITHER/OR CHOICE questions so that you get hold of a more specific answer.

There are many websites that you can write your own questionnaire and distribute it out via email and collect ALOT of data via a report and they are drastically easy to use.

Do you have the funds to set up a kiosk at a local shopping precinct?

Does your community have a really huge flea flea market that you could try for very little money?

Have you considered Yahoo Geocities as an open forum, with pamphlet provided electronically?

Who could you possibly network near that has a product or service that complements your invention, or vice versa? If both stand to gain something from the interaction, next maybe this is a opening to go? I am assuming that you know the difference between compliment and complement. Imagine, sometime surrounded by the distant past, the inventor of the hot dog roll hooking up near Oscar Mayer, right after the dog came on the flea market, for example.
