Good Post! I love everything about business, escpecially the marketing and hype parts. These things make or break a business. I've found masses ways to advertise my business that might back you. If you have a website, try SEO and PPC (pay per click from Google Adwords).

If you flaunt your business offline, try handing out flyers, printing coupons, and yellowpage advertising).

The best method I've found all the same is to buy business cards and hand them out everwhere. I buy them from a place online that give the cards for free and only charges for shipping and handling. I foot these out to everyone I meet, and I exit them on cars where ever I travel (I also got a free business card holder that looks really impressive)!

By the way, severance and laying-off benefits depend on the state you're in. In CA, if you win paid everything to be exact due you on your last daytime of work there, rightfully you can file for job loss the next business morning. Yes. Because typically the company pays unemployment taxes when workers are hired, and this money is kept by the state. Therefore despite of them going out of business, it should have no affect on the job loss funding.
