Is within any risk to accepting a money directive on ebay? I am selling some things on ebay and only adopt paypal. Someone
If the buyer is contained by africa, its a fake money proclaim. They deposit like legitimate money and you only find out weeks after that that the money order is sham. Usually they are US postal money orders that are the put-on ones. If you accept, after refuse to convey the item for a few weeks until it clear. If the guy gives you a problem more or less it, tell him to take paypal.
No, just don't ship the item until you receive the pay.
There may be a risk if it's a counterfit, but you can tell them that the sandbank needs to dosh it before you can transport the item out.
Most money orders are only just fine. People get them from the post department or bank or financial institution--they pay envelope the cash right nearby and it's like a check for change written to them for you. Cashing them is like cashing a check beside your bank when you cart it in.
Personally I've have no problems with money directives, but then I've solitary gotten about 8 or 9 of them, not as frequent as regular checks. I'd say if the money lay down was coming from inside this country it's probably ok. But if it's from Nigeria or Asia, don't adopt it.
Answers: I used to deal in on ebay all the time, and never have a problem with MO's. As a event of fact, they are safer for a vendor than paypal as a buyer can't charge back a MO, but they CAN do a chargeback surrounded by paypal.
Check your buyers feedback if it's good, afterwards I don't see why you should worry. You can bring it to the ridge and have them check it.
close to I said, i have never have a problem with MO's
