Is it wrong to look at music as a profession choice? I'm a musician, and I have be jamming with a trimming for
Answers: Your work is your choice. Just be aware of the consequences.
Musicians, as a general rule, don't procure rich. Some hit it big, but for most, it's a hand-to-mouth life.
It's knotty on family go - you're on the road a great deal.
If you want to hedge your bets, go and get a regular job and do the music on the side - if your job takes bad, you can always run into it full-time, but it's really handy to have that weekly check coming within.
there are no guaranteed paycheck job as a musician - you're basically self employed, and near are no guarantees you'll find enough those who like your music and will discharge for it to support you without have another backup job - I conjure up most "emerging new independent musicians" are just making any money and it's not easy getting your music into dictation stores - they have fixed space and if you're an unknown, they probably don;t want to take the risk it depends on what you do to receive it as a star... if you are changing the MUSIC to fit what the company desires .. then yes you are a flog out..
if your music stays the same.. after no you are not..

but be aware almost no one get rich off of album income.. most musicians form enough on an album to salary for the creation of the album and nothing else... where on earth musicians usually make money is touring to promote the album. it is varying but the record industry is CAREFULLY manged to preserve most of the cash OUT of the artists hand.
