Is this a perfect theory? My boyfriend is small business owner. He recently hired a strange

My boyfriend is small business owner. He recently hired a strange employee beside a lot of experience thinking that it would work out powerfully. The new hand was given a company cell phone, laptop, and a push button to the office. The unmoving bolt is being changed as i type, but my boyfriend requirements to go to the guys house to bring back his stuff back. He isn't going to tolerate the guy come back to work, and i deliberate he should call the police, find a report and take him to small claims court so that going to this guys house wont procure him hurt, if the guy even lives at the addresses given. What would you do?
Personally, I would go to the guy's house, but merely in a extraordinarily calm, dignified and lenient manner. If you would progress there next to an attitude, don't.

I'd simply knock, say hi, ask what happen. Nod at whatever he say, then read out "Sorry it didn't work out. Good luck to you. I need the laptop, cellphone and key back."

If he give them back, fine. If he get angry or uppity, leave straight away then travel the police route.
I agree. Go to the police and directory a report. At the very most minuscule, you'll have that on profile so that when and if you go to court you'll enjoy the report to back you up. You will probably want brand names, serial numbers and model numbers for the missing gadget. And, to ensure this doesn't happen again, your boyfriend should run a surroundings check on potential employees to cause sure he isn't hiring someone that shouldn't be hired. At least, this route, he gets tabbed for breaking and entering of company property.

Changing the lock is the first best impression yet.
Filing a police report is essential for two reasons: insurance claims and criminal charges. Your boyfriend may want to escort the police to the team house but not go in that alone.
Next you really should consider doing a complete inventory including items of personal and professional identification. After you complete the inventory and ring up the police, call your insurance agent.
Depending on how long its been since the soul has come to work it should be treated contained by different ways. I would call the police station and ask what would be the best bearing of handling the situation. NEVER give merely anyone the keys! Ive worked contained by a family business environment for years and still not everyone have a key! Best of luck and remember silence and reasonable thinking get you the farthest
