Job planning for a 14 year prehistoric? This summer I am turning 14 and I want a summer job.

This summer I am turning 14 and I want a summer job. Alot of my friends enjoy jobs already and making around $500 every month. I want to brand name my own money so that I can go shopping more commonly. Haha, I am looking to work at a restaurant/fast food place, a mall store, book store, ect. Something approaching that, please help! I have need of all the design I can get.
Well i am 15 and i applied to so heaps places to find that right now not a soul really wants somebody beneath the age of 18, and i later found out that you enjoy to be 16 to work at a restaurant and 18 to work at any place that serves alcohol so right now im thinking around working at publix (super market within florida) even though it would suck its the only piece that someone would hire under 16. Alot of places will be apprehensive to hire a 14 year old since you can't drive nonetheless and since child labor laws restrict how tons hours a week you can work under the age of 16.
For one item you will need a work permission from your school so don't dally til school let out to get one. Get to your school's guidance department, office, or board of childhood to find out about the worker warranty. They often know what employer are hiring and can help you.

If traditional employment doesn't work out for you, consider using your skills and interests to create your own job/business. You will earn more money working for yourself than working for someone else.

What kind of needs do you find for products and services that you can backing to fill? You may want to target busy family or the elderly or children or ... what passions do you own?

Your local library will have a little books for teens and tweens on business opportunities next to information on the legal and financial side of business as resourcefully as case studies of babyish people who are making it... and making it big. Why not you? Talk to your Librarian something like books like "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew.
