What business could he and I start that will start earning us big dough without beating about the bush? We don't want to hire too many staff. We don't want to work online.
Well, hope for the best, plan for the worst. I would not anticipate profits until year 5. Unless you develop a particularly sound business plan. I am surrounded by a business you might be intersted in. Email me for info! I would love to give a hand.

The short answer is in attendance is no guranteed "big dough" one size fits all businesses out nearby. I would suggest that you go to the business clause of the nearest city or university library and get books on aptitude test to see what sort of work melds with your personality. One or both of you should enroll in some bookkeeping and small business classes at a community college. (No thing what business you select, you will need to concordat with history keeping, and money in and money out.)
Talk to your local Chamber of Commerce to see if they hold some sort of small business incubator program available, along with reference for volunteer career coaches. (Sometimes retired local business those volunteer to help start up businesses avoid beginners mistakes. These society can also refer you to good suppliers and vendor.) The people at the Chamber might also aid you find a need within your community that you might fill.
Go to trade shows and business fair to get a grain for what sorts of things are available, but avoid franchises for now. They will require a impressively large investment and it 's not unusual for them to go amiss to earn the money that the franchise sellers vote they will.

Answers:   My husband and I started our home base business over six years ago together. We both wanted to work out of our home and be together raise our children. We didn't want to send them sour to a daycare center. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down daycare providers. They work tough. But I just didn't want the traditional house lifestyle of one or both parents having to work out of the home and really not be a member of our children's life. I didn't want that lifestyle. I considered necessary to be with my kids. Not just that, but at the time we started, my husband was undergo back to rear legs surgeries and I was on bed rest due to pregnancy complications from my 4rth month on.
The company we chose made the most since to us. A product specifically and always will be contained by high emergency. There are a lot of products and services out in attendance that are good. We settled to partner up with this company because it be things that people will other use and pay for anyway, pretty much no issue what. We didn't have to verbs if money became tight that they could well run to the store and purchase on sale or be capable of buy it at the dollar store. So, we got involved within the world's largest direct selling telecommunications service provider that was started rear in 1993. It's in a minute a 15 year old, world yawning international company. With headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Charlotte, Amsterdam, Sydney and Montreal.
They hold been feature in several magazine like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rate them the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue contained by it's first five years. They are registered with the BBB as ably.
They market contained by services people use every time and pay for anyway, resembling I had said. Services resembling Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and adjectives the major cellular phone companies close to T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc as well. We hide away people money and construct money at the same time. Every single month these associates pay their bills, we label a percentage over and over again each month.
How abundant people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of money involved contained by this industry.
When we started our non profit organization call SOFTIN funding is so hard to find near the compeitition involved. Every non profit organization is out at hand trying to find donors through large corporations. We could generate the monthly income to well support our non profit mechanism based on what we know and how much we made from our business. So we started a funding program through our business for our non profit as well as it's becoming a foremost funding source for other non profit organizations.

Big money *immediately*? Only in the most exceptional circumstances. Big money contained by two years is more likely, and you're probably looking at closer to five or ten. And within that case you can start pretty much any business you quality like starting.

If any of you are highly cultured in IT there's usually a souk to be had contained by technical support. Some loved ones members of mine run a long-haul trucking company, and others do in-home healthcare. I hold a small business as well.

In the meantime, mind about the strain that working together puts on a bridal. It's all the money, stress, work, and responsibility fight rolled into one, doubly so when you two begin to own different ideas of how to run the business and who is most responsible for its nouns or failure. The traditional business suggestion is to set the terms of the dissolution of the partnership for when (not if) you eventually abhorrence each other, and I would insist on no different for partners who are married.

Not to be a raining blanket, but just be vastly sure about this.
