Need some guidance from society who own/run a pub or tavern? Question: Q1 Do you think I should still dream of

Question: Q1 Do you think I should still dream of owning and running a pub even low I don't own manament skills? But I have worked contained by a pub for about 3 years.
Q2 The pub hypothesis I have is a litlle bit unusel should I stick to it or stay beside the main steam?
Q3 Do I solitary need 10% of the amount that I want to borrow?
Q4 Should I dally a bit because i'm only 23?

1) look for a training programme, - list your skills and identify gap to produe a learning plan. depending where on earth you are there may be scheme to help you, eg within UK try Princes Trust, I think upto age 25.

2) Unusual design may be good or desperate, do market research, look at the competition

3) the smaller number you borrow the less interest you will take-home pay & the sooner you can be profitable. The ammount a lender will give you depends on you and your assets.
If you look to run it as a social enterprise consequently there may be grant available if you are providing an "essential" service and building a resource that will stay in the community - depends where on earth you are and the legal, social, system support in your county/area.

I see zilch wrong with owning your own business at your age. And I chew over it's a very polite thing that you are natural about your want of management expertise and skills. That realism will suit you highly well surrounded by the future. But in attendance is a lot to running a business - tracking revenue and expenses, file tax returns, hiring and managing team according to the law, license issues, inventory, etc.

One bearing to get skills and experience at a relatively low cost might be to find a pub you would approaching to own, or at least of the proper size and location, that is to say owned by a person who is considering retiring or selling the business. Work out an agreement within which you would work for the person, swot that particular business from him/her, and over time assume running responsibility and stock ownership.

That way you'd lower your investment and your risk. And if you granted you didn't like it, you could wander away from it with no further requisite. If it works out well and you do come into full ownership, next you will be free to try out the unusual pub idea, probably on a small scale at first.

The agreement should be contained by writing, and reviewed by legal counsel.
