This may be a stupid question but I won't know if I don't ask, right? I'm interested surrounded by opening my own bakery. Do bakeries hold the cakes and pies out contained by the glass cases over darkness? And also how often do they remake the items within the cases? I guess it depends on the product. Do they just net everything their menu has to extend or just a few choice selection.
I owned a Bakery within FL for seven years. Our shelf life for any cake or pie be 24 hours. If it didnt sell we would cut it and put up for sale pieces. At 36 hours it was donated to charity. We produced adjectives of our own items. Have you though of going to work for a successful bakery for 6 motnhs to see what they do behind the scene? I wouldnt advertise that I be trying to start my own bakery, but I would try and get a supervision trainee position. What is Xin on ? He lost me in the first queue !
I worked surrounded by a bakery in a grocery store and here's how we did things. We festooned cakes and put them surrounded by plastic box/containers and kept them in a cooled case for more or less 10 days. I think we kept cream pies contained by a refrigerated shield for around 5 days. The fruit pies were merely out in boxes, not iced and I think they kept for around 3 days. It's be a few years since I worked there so I'm not positive on the number of days on everything. They made donuts every morning and doesn`t matter what didn't sell they boxed up and sold for a cheaper price. Cookies be made and packaged and kept for in the region of a week. Sometimes we would do cream puffs and e-clairs (which we got within frozen and just have to thaw) and put them out for a few days. You will learn by trial and error. If something seem stale after 2 or 3 days then verbs it and put out fresh. It makes a difference whether the items are within containers and whether the cases are refrigerated. resourcefully every bakery i know throw away cakes at the finishing of the day, because they will stir off gone out over night,

Cakes largely do not spoil so you more than likely could depart from them in an airtight baggage overnight but I would recommend refrigerating them to trademark freshness. Anything that has a cream wadding or butter cream icing requires refrigeration because of the butter. Butter does spoil and mold! So with anything that have butter that isn't cooked be very tight-fisted.

As far a name for the bakery...stay beside a name that tell the consumer what product you are selling. Sweet Treats is GREAT! I automatically think of something scrumptious so I know it is something to do with consumption. Sweet tells me that it is baked products or candy of some sort so keep your entitle, it sells!
