Selling my home auction style? I'm curious if it is a good perception or even legal

I'm curious if it is a good perception or even legal to try and provide my home auction style.

My home appraised at $368 two months ago. I've walked the price adjectives the way down to $276 and still no takers. I be thinking to open a two week extent for buyers to come by and put their offer contained by. I would start taking offers at $230K and award the home to the ultimate offer at the bring to a close of the two week period. All potential buyers would have need of to be pre-qualified. Is this at all a devout strategy?

I think you want another agent. Maybe one that advertises the certainty that you've lowered your price 90k below appraisal - that is if it is a physical appraisal and not just some crappy agents notion of an appraisal... Auction maybe as a finishing resort or perhaps a 'rent to own' contract can be set up if your not desperate. You will need to converse to a real estate attorney
why auction your house. This is incredibly risky I think
what if someone bids $230,000 and that's it. Or, what if someone bids $150 and that's it? Are you obligating respectively other with contracts? Do you hold to sell and do they own to buy?

I personally wouldn't do it.
I enjoy heard of a human being auctioning the house, but it was adjectives within soon that the bids came surrounded by. You could open it for viewing for the previous two weeks. You might even consider doing a "buy it now" price close to some Ebay sellers donate.

Problem with bids over two weeks is that relatives may find another home and want to withdrawl their bid.
