Hello, Let's say my business first name is Computer Help SM. That "SM" is supposed to mean service red mark, i don't know how to make it the right road. Anyways... since my business is not a trademark, am i allowed to sell inhabitants computers? or give them computer parts beside some of my services.such as backing up their notes with a concrete drive? im confused :(

Answers:   It's not the service or trademark you need to be worried in the order of. That only tell people that you are claiming a faddy business name.

What you call for to be concerned about is license in your nouns. If you are in business and do not hold a business license, please get one. Even if you are newly "DBA" (doing business as...) you may still want to call City Hall and see what the requirements are contained by your area lately to be safe.

The SM or TM comes surrounded by when someone else pops up with equal business name as you. You are not required to database with the USPTO but if you plan on doing business internally I would suggest looking into it and also doing a search to be sure not a soul else already has that business moniker that does the same entity you do.
