Should I ask for another lift up? In an unusual situation!? I started working at a small business 1 1/2 years ago. A

I started working at a small business 1 1/2 years ago. A few months later, I go from $9/hr, to $9.50/hr as assistant manager. They hired on a negotiator at $16/hr on salary. They have 3 employees total. I recieve a lift to $12/hr on salary 10 months ago. A month subsequent, the manager vanished and it was only me and the 2 owners. Later I find out that the 2 owners had a relationship and 1 owner departed to take time away and it's be 2 months now. I am usually contained by here by myself, sometimes the one owner will be in here but not adjectives day. Should I ask for another make higher as I am now managing the store or contemplate asking them to hire on another member of staff to help out? Our store is not really struggling and I own yet to hear nearly the future of the owner's decision. Very dramatic situation. What would you do? I would ask for another put on a pedestal. It is unfair for you to pilfer on a job to be exact not your own. They are actually cheating you out of money you could be earn. Either they give you a bump up or higher someone for that position. If you are taking on that much you inevitability the pay for the livelihood.
I'd ask for a temporary adjustment since you're taking on more work. consent to them know you understand it may solitary be until they hire someone to help

Answers:    Interesting indeed. It sounds like they hold been pretty even-handed in giving you raise when it was required given second responsibilities. You don't want to jeopardize that good will, they may already be contemplating giving you more money. I would ask for more assistance, and see where that go. If they say no, it might be a dutiful opportuntiy to talk almost your role as de-facto manager and later see if it leads to consult about a lift. tba
