Starting a business near home-made gifts? I am a very creative individual and I have seriously of people

I am a very creative individual and I have seriously of people recitation me my product are beautiful and that I should start selling them. I've made chic child gifts, scrapbooks for weddings, family and vintage collages, etc. How do I start putting the word out? Since I am correct at a few different things, how do I know how to choose the best one to showcase? How do I know my stuff is going to do well? I want to start rotten small (locally) first before anything else. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
Hi in attendance,

If you are doing it as a hobby go for it. You can start a website and start selling your products. If you want to brand a lot of money you might be disappointed. Because the limiting factor here is time.

Look for other ways to get money.

Just start it. Create a simple website, it can be done for free. Upload pics of your wares and own a biz email where those who call in the site could email to, to place their orders, state their comments etc whichever you desire.

From these emails you can slickly gauge the profitability of the business.

Answers:   Hello there =)

Start next to friends and family. Give them 'gifts' of what you do, and hopefully their friends and ethnic group will see it and like it, and afterwards they can come to you to have stuff done.

Also, try hype in your local broadsheet, a little advert might cost a bit of cash, but it could be ably worth it.

If you belong to a church, try advertise within their newsletter as well (usually totally cheap). Also, try school newsletters. Identify the cheapest marketing available and slowly start hype in some, one at a time to monitor the effect.

Good luck! Hope things work out for you =)
Look into selling your items on etsy.com. You have abundant categories you could fit within. See which items sell, and afterwards you can focus on that item to showcase.

Good luck to you! Dream big!
