In the UK, it is 20 days, including Bank Holidays (not plus BH!)
usually 20 days a year plus guard holidays
In the UK I judge it works out to be four weeks per year? Something like that.
varies by state.Federal decree does not require employers to own paid holidays. At the state stratum, states can legislate the number of paid holidays.
It depends on a lot of factor but here is my attempt at a good answer.

First it depends on the country you are surrounded by. I assume you're talking something like the US. Outside the US you gets tons and tons of time-off, or so I hold heard.

Next it depends on your status because full-time hand can be Hourly or Salaried. If you are Hourly you will most certainly take less time-off than a Salaried member of staff.

Next it depends on your tenure ... the longer you have worked for a company the more time-off they will distribute you.

An "average" salaried employee surrounded by the US might start out with 6-8 national holidays and 1-2 weeks break time. Then every 5 years they may add a week to the leave time.
