What size bubble mailers should I choose? I have other loved EBay and have granted to become a seller.

I have other loved EBay and have granted to become a seller. There is a particularly good inspection of bubble mailers I have found to buy online that hold very apposite reviews for price and durability. The only cross-question is what sizes do I want? I want to start with selling VHS movies and some clothing. Any suggestions or even tips, from anyone experienced within EBay selling? Thanks! :o)

Answers:   Hi, I use size 2 bubble envelopes. They are a very adaptable size. They will hold a CD (they are a bit bigger than they need to be), a DVD, a VHS video and many sizes of books. It is dutiful to find one size that you can use for multiple items...that way you do not hold to have so abundant envelopes stored in your home and you can economize by buying more surrounded by one size. I have have no problems at all near corners of items in bubble envelopes, they are pretty sturdy. If I am shipping a outstandingly heavy book, I will reinforce the backpack with packing video. Sometimes I put shipping tape on the trademark if the sticky part of the envelope does not lay flat.

I buy mine from Bubblefast contained by Canada. I will include the link below to Bubblefast's auctions on eBay contained by the U.S. I have not tried Overstocks although I will. However, they may not deliver to Canada (at most minuscule at that rate). I do have a local shipping/packaging company that I can buy bubble envelopes from. However, the price is almost the same even beside shipping factored in and I enjoy to drive across the city to get them. If I demand them online, they are delivered to the front door. That is a money of time and money!

In terms of clothing, most small items up to a twosome of jeans ship quite other in a poly sack. They sell special heaps that are sturdy for this purpose and they cost less than a bubble envelope. If I am sending a more expensive clothing item, similar to a fancy sequined Mickey Mouse tank top, I will wrap it contained by tissue paper first for a bit of extra protection. Using a poly sack also helps maintain the shipping costs down.

I am including a link to a Squidoo page I hold written about collecting VHS tape and it may help when you are selling yours.

Good luck beside your eBay adventure!

It really depends on the size of the items. Clothing seem ok with bubble mailers, but the VHS next to its sharp corners -- maybe not so much. You'd want the rigid boxes for VHS because bubble mailers can tear during shipping.

One suggestion -- buy the bubble mailers from Overstock http://www.overstock.com/Office-Supplies... -- even if you decree one box, the shipping is only $2.95 which can retrieve you a HUGE amount. eBay sellers selling bubble mailers charge shipping anywhere from $15 to $35.
