I own a home daycare myself, alot depends on your state codes, I live in VA and if you hang on to 5 chlidren or less you dont hold to he licensed, but if you plan on having more, you can own up to 12 and be a family daycare, but you must hold help. Anything over 12 children and you are technically a light of day care center, and the standards are tougher than if you be only a household day thoroughness with 12 or smaller number. I would start by calling your local social services office and ask them for the number of the closest hours of daylight care license office, you can speak to them and update then what you want to do, consequently they can tell you what steps to lift for whatever state you live contained by! There is no experience requirements to have your own facility, I believe the only requirement is you hold to be first aid certified, I am CPR certified, but believe it or not, that is not a requirement!!
