ime a window cleaner and cleaned an house on monday, the man what lives here asked me if i can call put money on on friday for the money, so told him yes, ive just be back for the money and his drunken son answered the door, told me he hasnt see me clean the window, wheres my ladders etc, told him i did them monday, i thought he be going throw a punch, but would of thrown one back, the drunken pratt.

the hardest quantity of a window cleaners work is going back for the money, ime up and down everywhere.

Speak to the owner of the property surrounded by furture. Also I wouldnt clean window for people close to that. Its okay if you know they will pay but if you bring back any hassle, I would collect the money and say you wont know how to do his again.

You're absolutely right, it be very stupid to verbs the windows on Monday and expect the deadbeat to discharge you on Friday.

Once you've get regular clients built up, are you not able to ask them to confer on you the money on the day you verbs their windows? I suppose it may collect you petrol having to chase up collecting stipend?

when i have a window cleaner i used to earnings him by cheque once a month so i didn't have to remember to hold cash at the right time. and if i ever missed him on his drop by i used to post him the cheque - maybe you could receive your customers to do this?

You are the one inconvenience by this situation, you need to revise from this situation. We all label mistakes, we show our intelligence by learning from these mistakes.
You shouldn't be going stern again and again trying to collect money, and the people who craft you do so, are not worth having as customers.
If it is your business, next write a contract of your responsibilities and your customers responsibilities. If you have to, draw from payment earlier you do the work, though that shouldn't be necessary.

You own made some mistakes it doesn't mean you are stupid, revise from them and adjust.
